Clinical Supervision

Service Description

Clinical supervision is required for all counselors and social workers seeking professional licenses (LMSW, LCSW, LAPC, LPC, etc.). See Georgia Chapter 135-5 REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE. Supervision is the direct clinical review of client case interactions (e.g. case notes and presentations, recordings, etc.), and direct observation of the practitioner's clinical skills. It is a crucial component to learning, growing, and being a successful licensed professional. This oversight and support enhances the learning clinician's clinical expertise while ensuring the maintenance of professional ethical standards and the consistent delivery of excellent client care.
